I need a needlepoint kit where I can stich only the background?
A long time ago a lady taught me how to needlepoint, but she passed on. The kit she gave me had everything allready stitched except the background! Does anyone know where I can find these? I would appreciate knowing so I can get started again!
Ebay has them. For example, do a search for “needlepoint duck” and you will find several that have the duck completely done; you just need to do the background. People buy these to stitch the background color of their choice for seat covers, but you can certainly make a pillow out of them or frame them. By the way, the stitches used for the duck are the same as the stitches you will use for the background (unless you are going to do a fancy pattern background). You should be able to do any kit you want. Good luck!
